What No One Told Me About The Book Community // things I should have known Part III

More than a year after Part I of this series, I’m back with some more observations and general *emotional realizations* about the book community. When I hit that big “Publish” button on my very first blog post, I had no idea what I was getting into. I knew Goodreads was a thing, but I didn’t know about the vast amount of books I was overlooking. I only knew about 10 other blogs, some of the most popular ones, I wasn’t aware of how many other bloggers I would eventually meet and grow friendships with. Back then, I still had so many things to learn, most of which I would have to grasp based on my own experiences!

My Summer TBR // we all know this is subject to change, but I’m trying

I’m very bad at making TBR lists, but please accept this attempt at doing so. I’m trying my best. 😌 (But there are almost 20 books on this list and I need some serious help.) I’m writing this TBR post as a list of books I might try to purchase (even through I’m supposed to be on a book ban 😅) or obtain in any other way. I also wanted to share this list because it’s particularly filled with books by Black, POC, and LGBTQ+ authors!

The Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus Character Book Tag

It feels like it’s been absolutely forever since I’ve done a proper book tag, and I think this is the most perfect tag I’ve seen in a while! 💕 Normally, I don’t like doing tags, because it just reminds me that I’m the most basic book blogger ever and I actually have not read as many books as literally everyone else, but I’m making an exception for this one because it’s Percy Jackson! My mind is currently filled with my love for PJO, and for May, who created this tag. 😊

Books I Want to Revisit // a list of books I won’t mind enjoying again and again 😌

When I was younger, I reread books all the time! It was easy, and honestly, I didn’t know just how many other options there were out there.

I loved the books I already owned, and I just kept reading them over and over again, no shame at all. I would just pick one of my faves up and simply reread it, with no worries about the impending doom of my TBR.

Nowadays, my TBR is suffering because I just have so many things I want to read next. Rereads seem like they would be a waste of time, but you know what? They’re not. This is my blog and you can’t tell me what to do.
