Why I Cut My Goodreads Challenge In Half // 2021 is a new year of reading differently

POV: In a sea of internet people who read 100s of books per year, you have finally stumbled upon me, who recently forced myself to read 50 books over the past two years.

Don’t get me wrong, 50 books in one year is still a lot! I’m giving myself a pat on the back as we speak. But as I was asked to input a new Goodreads challenge for 2021, I decided to lower my standards by a lot, and I went for it.

I only signed up to read 25 books this year.

Autumn Wrap Up // where i’ve been, what i’ve read, life updates

Hello, friends! It certainly has been a while.

It has now been nearly one year since I declared myself in burn-out mode and discussed my mixed feelings about blogging, but not much has changed since then. I’ve only posted consistently for about two months since that time… I think.

Books I Must Read Before The End of the Year // exposing myself for not reading your favorites

Hello, friends. 😌 It’s been a while. Have you figured out your TBR for the rest of the year?

That’s a really strange thing to say. The rest of the year? We’re almost at the end of 2020? Impossible.

I’m not entirely sure if I will have time to read all of these by December, but I can certainly dream.

Let’s Talk About Spoilers // special blogiversary discussion

Yesterday was my blog’s 2nd Blogiversary! I… literally can’t believe it. This is a very hard thing to process. Especially since I haven’t been blogging nearly as much as I did on my first year of blogging.

And in honor of my blogiversary, I’m going to revisit one of my first (and best) discussions. In March of 2019, I made a discussion post titled “What do you think about spoilers?” and to this day, it’s still one of my favorites. However! There are still so many things to discuss when it comes to spoilers. So in true Xandra fashion, I’m going to talk about everything I can when it comes to spoilers.
