Today I have something a little different: I’m going to tell you a little about myself, but with emojis! 😉
I was tagged by Mandy and Sha @ Book Princess Reviews to do one of their original tags! 😊 Please please check out their blog – it is filled with lots of fun bookish (and even fun non-bookish!) things, and their original tags/challenges are so much fun! 💕
RULES
- Tag the creators (Book Princess Reviews)
- Share one thing you learned about the person who tagged you
- For each prompt, you can use a maximum of three emojis
- Tag at least two other bloggers you want to get to know better
What I learned about Mandy:
I didn’t know Mandy wanted (or still wants?) to be a teacher!
What I learned about Sha:
I didn’t know Sha can speak French! I’m jealous!
(Also, the thing she could talk all day about is 🧠 and I’m very confused, lol)
[1] What country do you live in?
🇺🇸
[2] What was your dream job growing up?
🖋 📖
[3] How many siblings do you have (if any)?
👧
[4] What are your top three favourite activities?
📚 ✈️ 📺
[5] What is something you’re very good at?
📚 🖋 🎨
[6] What is something you’d like to become better at?
📖 💪 👋
[7] How many languages do you speak?
🇺🇸
[8] What is something you could talk about for hours? (non-book related if possible)
✈️
[9] What’s your favorite book genre?
🏰
[10] What is your favorite season of the year?
☃️
[11] If you had to describe yourself as an animal, what animal would you be?
🐈
Now it’s your turn!
I tag… Caitlin | Ella | Kristen
I’ll see you all tomorrow with a new discussion post! 😊
You can also be my friend on Goodreads! 📚
Happy reading, everyone!
Lol I actually found out a lot about you through the emojis. Cool post! ☺️

Ooooh I loved reading your emojis, Xandra!! 😀 I’m totally with you on the favorite activities. And I loved your 9 & 10 answers. I never thought about those, and they were perfect emojis. I’m also jealous about the writing desire as a kid. I got the desire later on life, and hated writing in any form until I was like 12. Thank you for doing the tag, and it was so much fun! 🙂

Thanks for creating the tag! 💕 I was trying to find some unique emojis for my answers, so I’m glad you liked them!
I’ve always wanted to write, ever since I was 6 years old, but I didn’t start writing until I was 11, so age 12 isn’t that far off from my experience! 🙂

Did you always have ideas for things to write or just knew that was the goal since you were 6? 🙂 But yes! XD

Yeah, I came up with my first story when I was about 7 or 8 years old, but I never wrote anything down for that one 😂 When I was 11, I came up with my first “real” plot and I wrote my first book 🙂

Ahahaha that was how I first got into writing too. We had the practice for crafting those plots. But a good build up to show you what you remember wanted. 🙂

Hahaha, the brain is supposed to mean human psychology and mental health. Why we do the things we do, how we act/react, etc. I really could not think of a better way to show it.
Where have you travelled to before? Do you have a lot of travel plans on your mind? It’s never been something I thought of a lot, I’m such a homebody. :’)

Oh of course! Why didn’t I think of that before! 🙈 That makes sense! Mental health is a very good thing to be able to talk about.
In the past, I have traveled to places like New York City and California, and almost a year ago I spent two weeks in London, Paris, Edinburgh (Scotland), and Dublin! 🙂 The vacation was a graduation gift from my family. I love traveling, and I plan to travel a little bit every year!

Those all sound like such great places to travel to! Travelling a little every year is a cool plan. Is there somewhere you really want to go to?

I would love to visit Italy or Greece next! Or Canada would be a nice option, too 😉

Canada might pale a little next to Italy and Greece… but we certainly have some sights to offer! Greece would be amazing…
