Today I’m just going to have a short post. Why? Because I have no experience with audiobooks whatsoever.
But I would love to try them out! 😀
If you listen to audiobooks, I have some questions for you!
Why do you listen to audiobooks?
Listening to audiobooks is not for everyone. Some people like it, some people love it, and some people (like me) have never tried it and/or don’t think they ever will.
However, I’m willing to give it a go! There have been some small moments in my life when I have realized I could be reading so much more if I had an audiobook with me.
How do you listen to audiobooks?
Do you use an app? If so, which one?
OR, do you get audiobooks from your library? I’ve tried a few from my library’s Overdrive, and I think that would also work just fine for me.
What’s your favorite audiobook, or the best audiobook you’ve ever heard?
I’m currently looking for suggestions! More than one would be even better 🙂
What do you think?
Are audiobooks your favorite way to read, or are you more of a physical-book person?
Let me know in the comments!
You can also be my friend on Goodreads!
🎃 Stay spooky for the rest of October, everyone! 🎃
I’ve never listened to one before, but I am going to try!

I listen to audiobooks when the library has something I want to try through Overdrive. My favorite audiobooks were 11/22/63 by Stephen King or Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough. I hope you enjoy your first audiobook! For me, it has to be a specific story or nonfiction, otherwise, I have a hard time focusing. I enjoy listening to them while I clean though!

Thanks for sharing!
I agree, some genres are probably better for audiobooks than others.

I’ve tried over and over to listen to audio books (always through my library) but I just can’t get into them. My mind will wander after just a few minutes of listening. I wish I liked them because I could get so much more reading done!

Yes, I usually go through the same thing! I can never make it past the first couple of chapters. But I’m trying!

I listen to them when I can’t really read a book. This is generally in the car. I listen to them through my library card in the apps Hoopla & Overdrive. I prefer hoopla tbh because I find it easier to search for books, but overdrive is not bad. I sometimes listen to them before bed with earbuds in so that I can relax until I am about to fall asleep. If you find yourself unable to focus on the story, tasks like cleaning, walking the dog, etc.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve never used Hoopla, but I should probably give it a try 🙂
