Hello, and welcome to my little book blog!

I’m Xandra (pronounced ZAN-dra, she/her) and obviously, I like to read 🙂 I’m also a full-time college student! I’m trying my best!

I mostly read YA and Middle Grade novels! If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them!

And now, a few things about me…

✨ In addition to books, I also love all things Disney and Pixar, Broadway musicals, and cookies 🍪
(but basically any and all foods)

✨ Ever since I was 6 years old, I’ve wanted to be a novelist 📚 🖋

✨ I’m currently a University student in the United States 📓  🇺🇸

✨ My favorite genre is Contemporary fiction, particularly mysteries, but I know in my heart that I’m also a huge Fantasy fan.

✨ I don’t really watch TV shows, but my favorites include Stranger Things, Doctor Who, BCC’s Merlin, and Psych 🍍 (i feel like there should be other answers here, but… i just don’t want shows very much!)

✨ But I do watch movies! Usually thrillers, because I like to live on the edge of my seat! 😉

✨ I’m really bad at picking favorite books, so don’t ask unless you want me talking all day! Some of my favorites are Strange the Dreamer, The Lightning Thief, Challenger Deep, The Cruel Prince, The Knife of Never Letting Go, Radio Silence, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, Check Please!, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Nocturna, and Cemetery Boys. 

✨ I’m also kind of bad at making lists, so I don’t do them very often! 😅 I’ll come back when I can think of more things.

Now that I’ve started this blog, I hope to get back into my old reading habits and find some great books!
