Hello, friends! Today is a short post, because I’m just sharing my Pondathon character and TBR!
The lovely bloggers over at The Quiet Pond are hosting the Pondathon Readathon! The readathon is January 24 – March 7th, and you can sign up at pretty much any time, up until the last few days! (read more of this post for more specific info!)
What is the Pondathon?
The Pondathon is a co-operative and story-driven readathon hosted and run by CW from The Quiet Pond. The aim of the Pondathon is to read books and collect points to protect the friends over at The Quiet Pond from the encroaching malevolent forces that threaten our friends in the forest.
Have fun participating in the Pondathon readathon by joining one of five teams, each with a unique way to collect points and signing up! You can also follow the story of the Pondathon as it unfolds, and participants can also complete ‘side quests’ during the readathon to collect extra points. The readathon takes place from January 24th 2020 to March 7th 2020. More information about the readathon can be found here.

My Pond Character and Team
My Pond Character is called Bria, Defender of Gardens! She’s a small little bee, but she is mighty and ready to take on anything, especially when she has to save her friends at the pond.
I will be joining Team Xiaolong! Since I’m starting my college semester right now, and I don’t have a lot of flexibility to read whatever I want, I figured this team would be the best option for me!
My Pondathon TBR
House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A Craig
I’ve already started reading this one, and I really like it so far! I’m about 3/4 of the way into the audiobook, and I’m excited to finish it soon!
The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
I might start this one soon. I have the audiobook checked out from my library, and it’s ready to read. 🙂 Although I’m not really in the mood to finish this series, I might read it next. Who knows?
The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco
This is another book I’ve been meaning to read for a long time, and I was finally able to get this audiobook from my library! I’m not sure if I’ll have time to start it, but I can try!
Two Can Keep A Secret by Karen M. McManus
Okay… I’m starting to see a pattern here. This is another audiobook I recently got from my library, and now I’m getting worried. 😅 Will I ever have time to read all of these books? Perhaps not.
Darius The Great Is Not Okay by Adib Khorram
Again! Another library audiobook! I’m simply drowning in them at this point!
The Conference of the Birds by Ransom Riggs
Not another audiobook, thank goodness. I’ve been reading this new hardback for a few days, and I’m excited to be back in the Peculiar world!
Okay, that’s enough about audiobooks for now! 😅 Are you going to join the Pondathon? (Please do! It’s so cute!) What books are on your TBR for the near future?
Chat with me about it?
You can also be my friend on Goodreads!
Happy reading, everyone! Have a great day!

Your little character is absolutely adorable!! I’d love to join this challenge, but this year I’ve decided to stick to reading for personal enjoyment and not feel pressured by readathons. I hope it goes amazing for you! 😀
