Hello everybody! I wasn’t going to post today, but I just wanted to pop in and make sure you all saw this masterpiece.
All right, so… after a few minutes of flailing and excitement, I realised that this is NOT in fact breaking news to some people… appearently, this reveal happened back in December or somewhere around there?
So let’s address the real issue: How did this news get past me?
Nobody told me about this, and now I’m little sad. 😦
(This may not be news to you, but it’s news to me!)
But anyway, on with the news.
The Title:
Tunnel of Bones
Let that sink in for a second… a TUNNEL of BONES? How much creepier can you get for a Middle Grade series?
Which of course means I’m super excited.
The Cover:
And… here it is!
Look at how beautifully creepy it is!
I can’t wait to add this one on my shelf when it comes out (September 3rd!).
The Synopsis:
from Goodreads:
Trouble is haunting Cassidy Blake . . . even more than usual.
She (plus her ghost best friend, Jacob, of course) are in Paris, where Cass’s parents are filming their TV show about the world’s most haunted cities. Sure, it’s fun eating croissants and seeing the Eiffel Tower, but there’s true ghostly danger lurking beneath Paris, in the creepy underground Catacombs.
When Cass accidentally awakens a frighteningly strong spirit, she must rely on her still-growing skills as a ghosthunter — and turn to friends both old and new to help her unravel a mystery. But time is running out, and the spirit is only growing stronger.
And if Cass fails, the force she’s unleashed could haunt the city forever.
That’s all for today, folks! I’ll see you soon! 😀

Have you read City of Ghosts yet? What did you think?
How excited are you for this new book?
(When did YOU find out about the cover reveal?)
I want to hear all of your thoughts!
You can also be my friend on Goodreads! 📚
Happy reading, everyone! 😀

I’m glad I was able to share this news with you! I read and reviewed City of Ghosts a few months ago – it’s definitely Middle Grade, but if you like Middle Grade, it’s fast-paced and the characters are great!

Thank you! I’m more excited for the rest of this series than I was when I read the first book – I hope it’s going to be even better!

When I picked up City of Ghosts, I had no idea it wasn’t going to be a standalone. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where the story goes!

Me too! It wasn’t until the ending that I realized it was going to be a whole series 🙂 The first book was a tiny bit lacking for me, but I know the next books will be even better!

I’m so excited for this book! It certainly sounds creepy, but that seems right in line with City of Ghosts 😀 And it takes place in Paris, so that should be amazing!

I’m excited for the Paris part, too!
It’s actually really interesting because I went to Europe last summer, and some of the cities I visited were Edinburgh (1st book) and Paris (2nd book)! At this rate the series is just going to follow my enitre European trip! 🤣

umm, there is a cat on that cover??? now I’m interested! is the cat in the first book? (I’m kind of joking, but also kind of not, I love magical cats)

Haha, yes, the cat is in the first book! But not all of the time (it’s usually a house cat)!

WHUUUUT?? I didn’t even now that the cover/title for this book had been released! I read the first book a couple of months back and thought it was alright – not AMAZING, but fun – I really liked Cassidy and Jacob’s friendship tbh. Anywho, thanks so much for bringing this to my attention! Just added it to my TBR 🙂

I didn’t know, either! I only found out because I was going through my TBR on Goodreads! The first book was not amazing for me either, but I could sense that was because a lot more would be discussed in later books 😀 And Cassidy and Jacob are such cute friends!
