THE CRUEL PRINCE: Appreciation Post

I know I’m a little late to the party, but I just received my copy of The Cruel Prince and it is beautiful! 

So before I even read this series, I’m going to dedicate this post to my first reactions to receiving The Cruel Prince by Holly Black.

First of all, look at the cover! It’s so beautiful!

I’m glad I got it in hardback, because look at that gold design! 

Amazing.

Also, these front map pages are so nice and intricate!

It’s been a while since I’ve read a book with a map. That’s how you know it’s fantasy, am I right? 

I also thought these inside pages looked pretty nice, too. The flower designs are so delicate and cute! Although, I have heard that this book tends to wreak your soul, so I’ll see how that goes.

Overall, even though I haven’t started it yet, this beautiful book is getting me excited for the series!
